  3. CDHP’s will grow Quickly in the Alliance because Employees who have selected HSA/HRA’s will plant seeds in the minds of other Employee
   
2006 HSA Account Funding  
  1. Can Be Up to $2700/$5450 a year or the deductible amount, whichever is lower.
  2. Can Be Funded By the Employer or Employee or by a Combination
  3. Funding Limits will increase
   
How HSA’s Works  
  1. Each enrollee receives a medical ID Card
    1. The Provider submits claim to the insurer
    2. The Claim is  processed and re-priced in accordance with network fees
    3. The member is sent an EOB that states the member’s responsibility
    4. ID Card will entitle member to Rx Discounts
    5. Preventative Care Not Subject to Deductible
  2. Each Employee gets a Debit Card and Checks Linked to his/her HSA Account
  3. Qualified expenses can be paid with the debit card
  4. Unused Funds Rollover year to year and can be used toward retirement

How the HRA’s Work
  1. Employer Establishes Reimbursement  Allowances for Medical Expenses and sets up an account
  2. Employees Receive Debit Card and can use the card within the established parameters.
  3. FSA Account can be established and contributions can be made by the Employer or Employees Pre-taxed
